2. What data do we collect?
- Order form: your name and email (required), and whatever you choose to add: phone, store name, product, style, colours, language, selling price, domain name and extra wishes. We also store that you agreed to the terms.
- Payment: Stripe processes your payment. We receive your name, email, billing address (if requested), the amount and whether the payment succeeded. We never see your full card or bank details.
- Contact: whatever you email us yourself.
- Technical data: our hosting partner Netlify processes technical data such as your IP address to show and secure the website.
3. Why, and on what legal basis?
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Carrying out and delivering your order, communicating with you | Performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b) |
| Processing payments and keeping accounts | Legal obligation (art. 6.1.c) |
| Keeping the website secure and working | Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f) |
We don't send you marketing emails without your consent, and we never sell your data.
4. Who do we share data with?
- Netlify: website hosting and storage of the order form.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Our email provider: to email you.
Some of these partners also process data outside the EU, including in the United States. This happens with the legal safeguards in place, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. How long do we keep your data?
- Order and contact data: up to 2 years after your last order.
- Invoice and payment data: as long as accounting law requires (in Belgium currently up to 10 years).
6. Your rights
You can always access, correct or delete your data. You can also restrict processing, object, or request your data to take with you. Just email info@akgroupdesign.be.
Not happy with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be) or the authority in your own country.
7. Cookies
TikTok Pixel (only with your consent). To measure how well our TikTok ads work, we use the TikTok Pixel from TikTok Technology Limited (Ireland). It only loads after you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. The pixel then places cookies and sends data to TikTok, such as your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view and whether you start or complete an order. TikTok may also process this data outside the EU. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings (also at the bottom of every page). More information is in TikTok’s privacy policy.
We load our fonts from our own server, so your IP address isn’t sent to third parties for that. Your language and cookie choices are stored locally in your browser.
When you go to the payment page, you are on Stripe's website. Stripe places its own necessary cookies there to make the payment work and prevent fraud. More information is in Stripe's privacy policy.
8. Changes
We update this policy when needed. The date at the top shows the latest version.
